CHARIS Worldwide Intercession Network – CIN

CHARIS INTERCESSION COMMISSION

 

CHARIS Intercession Commission is one among many Commissions constituted by CHARIS. It Coordinator is Chevalier Cyril John (India) and Sheny de Gongora (Guatemala) is its member.

In view of the above, CHARIS Intercession Commission has been formed with the following objectives:

  • To promote intercession in the CCR and the Church.
  • To create an International Network of Intercessors to pray for the Church and the World
  • To identify and support intercession ministries and groups around the world.
  • To help CHARIS National Service of Communion, communities and ministries in formation and growth of intercession.
  • To develop and impart authentic teaching on intercession.
  • To offer CHARIS training course on intercession at national and continental levels.
  • To organize continental and international gathering of intercessors.
  • To be attentive to the signs and needs of the time and organize intercession.
  • To organize intercession for emergent needs with intercessors of other Christian Churches.

 

WHAT IS CIN?

 

At the Worldwide Intercessors’ Conference held in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast with 1800 participants from 53 countries, Pino Scafuro, Moderator of CHARIS International launched CHARIS Worldwide Intercession Network. Intercessors who are interested to join the Network may please visit, CHARIS International website l and choose English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or French and register themselves.

Main objectives of launching CIN are:

  1. To impart formation and network intercession worldwide.
  2. To mobilize prayer support for the intentions of CHARIS, the Church and the world. Prayer intentions for the month will be circulated on the first day of the month.
  3. To pray for emergent needs arising from time to time.
  4. To update about CHARIS Initiatives and intercession programs.

 

PRAYER INTENTIONS FOR JUNE 2023

1. FOR THE WORLD

FOR UKRAINE AND RUSSIA: We pray that war may end and peace may prevail between Russia and Ukraine. We specially pray for the victims of the war both sides, especially those injured, bereaved, aged, women and children that they may receive healing, consolation and justice.

2. FOR THE CHURCH

FOR THE GREATEST JUBILEE 2033: We pray for preparations for the 2000th anniversary of Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension and Pentecost in 2033 by the Church, all Christians and all people of goodwill.

3. FOR CHARIS

FOR CHARIS GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN ROME: We pray for guidance and anointing of the Holy Spirit on all participants of CHARIS General Assembly in Rome from 29 to 31 October, 2023. We also pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all participants of “Called, Transformed and Sent” in Paul VI Hall, Rome from 2 to 4 November, 2023.
