At CENACLE 2024, 500 prophetic intercessors from 19 countries on all continents met. Although the majority of us were Spanish-speaking and came from all over the Americas, there were participants whose mother tongue was English, French or Portuguese. We appreciated the incredible hospitality of the Guatemalan team and participants, who shared their hearts with us visitors!
Throughout the program, we experienced a renewal of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, benefited from edifying teachings on the role of Mary in intercession and spiritual warfare, and celebrated anointing-filled liturgies, as well as adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Finally, we prayed the Jericho March for the world. We handed over all the nations represented to the lordship and kingship of the Eucharistic Jesus.
The raison d’être of CENACLE, as it was emphasized, is to come together and listen to the Lord as one body, one army of intercessors. We took the time to listen to the Father’s voice, looking for what to focus on as prophetic intercessors for these times. We did this at different times: through prophetic intercession in small groups, but also through prophetic listening prayer and individual listening.

“When I arrived, I was a little distracted. The Lord asked me: did you realize that I am the one who called you? As the days went by, he enlightened me. I’m going back [to my country] with several objectives in mind:
- To return to personal and community prayer
- To pray for my parish priest
- To pass on to my brothers what I have received
- To relaunch the intercession group: pray that the Lord will show me how, when and where to start intercession groups in my diocese”.
