We are pleased to share a report on the training course on Prophetic Intercession that took place in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from August 25 to 29, 2025. The Event was organized as part of the celebrations for the Golden Jubilee of the Charismatic Community “Colonne de Feu.”

The General Moderator of the Community, Leonard Nlam, invited Archbishop Francis Kalist and Cyril John (member of the CHARIS International Service of Communion and Coordinator of the Intercession Commission) as speakers. The 931 participants came from all over Cameroon.

The inaugural Eucharist was presided by Archbishop Jean Mbarga of Yaoundé. The Eucharistic celebrations on the other days were presided by Bishop Marcelin Marie Ndabnyemb of the Diocese of Batouri, and Bishop Justin Georges Ebengue of Yokadouma. Alphonse Bertin Fankep, National Coordinator of the National Service of the CCR and the Continental Service of Africa, also took part in the formation.

On August 28, a “JERICHO” prayer march walked through the streets, during which participants also prayed for the upcoming presidential elections in Cameroon. In the afternoon of the same day, Archbishop Francis Kalist presided over an awareness-raising event at the Basilica of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles in Yaoundé, which was attended by over 3,000 people.

The training program concluded on August 29, with Community members renewing their commitment during the Eucharistic Adoration.
