On the occasion of the feast of Pentecost and the Jubilee of Movements, Associations, and New Communities, Pope Leo XIV wished to personally greet their representatives gathered in St. Peter’s Square, who had come from many parts of the world for the occasion.
Pino Scafuro, moderator of CHARIS, also had the opportunity to meet the Pope for a few brief but meaningful moments before the Pentecost Mass. During the meeting, he shared with His Holiness the mission of CHARIS, which the Pope showed he was familiar with. Pino described the Pope as a spiritual person, humble and very attentive to dialogue. He also presented the Holy Father with CHARIS’ projects and left him a folder with detailed information and some gifts, promising him the closeness and prayers of the entire worldwide Charismatic Renewal.
