CALLING ALL INTERCESSORS!
Because the Pope Francis called us to pray for the Jubilee 2025
Pope Francis says: “In this time of preparation, I would greatly desire that we devote 2024, the year preceding the Jubilee event, to a great “symphony” of prayer.” It is through a deep relationship with Jesus through prayer that we’ll become true pilgrims of hope. As intercessor we are called to pray for more and more people enter into that relationship. We’ll pray for the Holy Father and the fruits of Jubilee 2025.
Because our suffering world needs peace and hope
We trust in Jesus’promises! He said: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.“ (Jn.14,27) Our peace and hope rely in Jesus only! We’ll pray for peace, nations at war, de-scalation of all forms violence, hope for those in suffering accross the world.
Because CHARIS needs our support to bring forward all its projects
Our God is a loving, provident Father. But, we need to ask Him for all resources we need -human, material and financial- to bring His plan forward. Furthermore, as St. Paul VI says: the principal agent of evangelization is the Holy Spirit. (Evangelii Nuntiandi #75) We must ask Our Eternal Father not just for a New Pentecost but also for all resources needed to do the work of evangelization. We should do that in unity as Jesus promised: “I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.” (Mt. 18,19) We’ll pray for CHARIS ’temporal needs (resources and finances) and for CHARIS’ projects: especially the 2025 jubilee’ celebrations Prophetic Intercession training in Rome from 31 March to 4 April, Entry through the Holy Door on 4 April and the World Wide CCR Encounter for Prayer Groups from 4 to 6 April.
Thus, in unity, we’ll lift these three intentions up to Our Father in Jesus’ Name in various languages. Intercessors will join from every corner of the world.
