Charismatic Renewal overflows with joy upon receiving the news that Pope Francis has appointed Msgr Etienne Vetö as auxiliary bishop of Reims, France.
Bishop Etienne Vetö has been a member of the CHARIS International Service of Communion since 2019 and a member of the CHARIS Commission for Christian Unity. He is part of the charismatic Chemin Neuf Community and with extensive experience in the field of dialogue between Christian churches. He studied theology and philosophy. Consultor to the Commission for Religious Relations with Judaism of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity since 2021. Member of the International Theological Commission and currently director of the Cardinal Bea Center for Jewish Studies in Rome.
