Martin Luther’s prayer: “Eternal and merciful God, You who are a God of peace, love and unity, we beseech you, Father, and we beseech you to reunite, by your Holy Spirit, all that is divided. Let us also convert to your unity, seek your one and eternal truth and refrain from all dissent. Then we will have one heart, one will, one science, one spirit, one reason. And, completely turned to Jesus Christ, our Lord, we will be able, Father, to praise you with one mouth and give you thanks for our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
