Fundraising Commission
Purpose and goals
Today it is estimated that more than 120 million people worldwide witness a life-changing experience through the work of the Holy Spirit through contact with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR).
CHARIS was erected by the Holy See in 2018 at the behest of Pope Francis himself to provide a new unique international service for the needs of the CCR. Despite the difficulties of a starting body, CHARIS has so far been able to carry out various commitments for the stream of grace both internationally, as well as continentally, nationally, and on the diocesan level.
Challenges to be faced
The Holy Father expects CHARIS to play an important role in the two major jubilee celebrations to be held in 2025 and 2033. CHARIS for its part is committed to continue offering training courses for leaders and others on: intercession, prayer groups, communities, Christian unity, human promotion, baptism in the Spirit, etc. in different languages.
CHARIS is also involved in organizing meetings for various charismatic groups and realities internationally and continent-wide. We are working on several new initiatives.

As it states in the Statutes, “CHARIS is sustained by voluntary donations and financial contributions from the various realities and individuals involved in Catholic Charismatic Renewal worldwide.” (Art 21.1)
The Bible assures multiple blessings to those who tithe. “Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you” (Lk 6:38). St. Paul regarded the sharing of one’s resources for the Kingdom of God as “’a fragrant aroma’, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (Phil. 4:18).
As the various initiatives need to be carried out, CHARIS needs your support, such as?
Both your prayers and financial support. Do you want to help us?
We assure our benefactors of a special remembrance in our intercession at the CHARIS Office located in the San Calisto Palace – extraterritorial area of the Vatican. For true donors are often the greatest beneficiaries of God’s goodness.
