Held on Thursday 6th – Sunday 9th February 2025 At St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Grand Basaam Diocese, Ivory Coast.
How good, how delightful it is to live as brothers all together! Psalm 133:1
.

A taste of this psalm was experienced these last three days during the 2nd pan African meeting of new communities that was held in the Diocese of Grand Basaam in Ivory Coast.
The meeting brought together 238 participants representing 135 different Communities in Africa.
.
.
It was such a joy to be blessed with the presence of 3 Bishops, an assurance of the support that Mother Church is giving and ready to continue giving to these new communities which are God’s gift to the church and the world: a tool for new evangelisation and preparation for a great revival.

The Bishops were:
Bishop Alexis Touably Youlo, of the Diocese of Agboville in Ivory Coast and president of the United Episcopal conferences of West Africa. He is also the president of the Episcopal Commission for new communities and the new evangelisation within the Catholic Bishops conference of IvoryCoast.
Bishop Raymond Ahoua, Bishop of the Diocese of Grand Basaam and Bishop Honore Beugre Dakpa of the Diocese of Katiola.
Present also were approximately 30 priests, chaplains and members of these communities.
The main Facilitators were:- Bishop Alexis Touably Youlo, Bishop Honore Beugre, Dr. Alphonse Fankep from Cameroon and Cordinator of CHARIS Continental Service of Communion for Africa, Fred Mawanda CISC representative for English Speaking Africa, Jean Barbara, International President of the Sword of the Spirit Communities, Christopher Sakiti CISC Representative for French Speaking Africa, Fr. Yves KISI General Moderator of Mother of Divine Love Community, Mrs. Betty Namusoke Mutebi, Member of CISCRepresenting Communities, Rev Deacon David Pio Maitre N’dry Cleaver and Dr. Jean Messingue.
We thank the Lord Jesus for this new move and communion as we take the initial steps to forming a network of new communities for the continent of Africa, because, together we can achieve much for the Kingdom of God. To Him be the Glory and Honor Forever and ever. Amen.
