The Local Host

The Mother of Divine Love Community, under the leadership of its Founder, Dr Clement Akobe (Ivory Coast), is hosting the event for CHARIS

The history of the Mother of Divine Love Community began in January 1989 with the conversion of some young people (students, pupils, workers…) belonging to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Archdiocese of Abidjan.

On 16 January 1997, the Mother of Divine Love Community was recognised by the then Archbishop of Abidjan, Archbishop Agre (elevated later to the rank of Cardinal by Pope John Paul II) as a Private Association of the Faithful, governed by the Code of Canon Law in the group of Canons 321 to 326.

Objective

With the passage of time, CHARIS has been sensing the need to intensify intercession in response to ‘the signs of the time’. Intercessors have a key role that is urgent and prophetic. This conference is intended to build up a worldwide network of intercessors under the umbrella of the CHARIS Intercession Commission to pray for the emerging challenges in the world, the Church and your own nations.

Prophecies received during the listening adoration on 3.5.2023
